I always try to use a leave in conditioner because the ends of my hair get so extremely dry, even when I’m not using heat on them. I decided to give Aussies Miracle Hair Insurance a go because it is a bit ore intense than the one I had been previously using, especially since I had been out in the sun.
I use the leave in conditioner mainly concentrated at the ends of my hair, but I do tend to go up the mid lengths also. I use a comb to evenLy disperse it through my hair.
The conditioner says it de tangles and protects and it does! My hair is so much more easy to take after my shower when I use this and my ends have never been softer. It really protects them and prevents them from splitting.
It’s a really lightweight conditioner and it doesn’t weigh down your hair or leave it feeling sticky. As I only use it on the ends and lengths,, it doesn’t make it more any more greasy which I’m always wary of.
As with all Aussie products the scent of this is amazing and when you use it and it’s sunny, the heat intensifies the smell and you just smell drop deep amazing.
I really love this conditioner and recommend it to anyone with weak, distressed hair that needs a bit of TLC.

I know that dry shampoo reviews are not exactly exciting for people but I just want to share how much I have been loving the Batiste Hint of Colour for light & blonde hair
I usually stick rigidly to the original Batiste formula but for the past two months I wanted to try something different. I tried other brands of dry shampoo, but I never really love any of them, I find Batiste is the best for my hair,
I have greasy roots, but dry ends, so dry shampoo help me to not wash my hair as often, but to keep it fresh. I usually use it on second day hair, like most people. It just gives you that wee bit of help you need. When my roots are even a teeny bit greasy, they go dark. My hair does have that natural balyage (is that how you spell it?) look, where it’s lighter from mid to ends, so there’s no escaping the roots problem. It would be especially great if you dye your hair blonde and your roots are growing back, to mask this.
This dry shampoo not only works as a regular one does, but it gives me that hint of colour I need to lighten up my roots when they go particularly dark. You just use it as usual, spray it on, work it in and leave it for a minute or so then brush it through. Make sure to brush it through really well so you don’t have the look of powder on your hair.
I bought this in a local chemist, but you can get it from stores such as Boots and Tesco and it retails for around €4 so it’s not too much more than their original formula.
I really am in love with this dry shampoo and I will continue to repurchase it!
What’s your favourite dry shampoo?

Where did March go, seriously?
So it’s that time of the month again, you got it, the time I tell you all about what I’ve been loving! It’s not a huge favourites post, I’ve been pretty basic in everything this month because college is so stressful and busy and it’s gonna be like this for two weeks til Easter, eek! Anyway, let us dive right into what I do have to show you guys!
Batiste Dry Shampoo Hint of Colour Light & Blonde
So usually I stick pretty rigidly to the original Batiste formula I think it works well for me but lately I’ve been using the Hint of Colour Light & Blonde and I am loving it! The colour isn’t loads, it is really just a hint. It works the same as the other dry shampoo but I find with the hint of colour, it works a bit better.. Does that make sense? If my roots are even a teensy bit on the greasy side they go dark, so with this it lightens them up again, and tides me over til my next wash so what’s not to love? I bought is in a local chemist for €4 but I know that’s the same price in Tesco too!
Milani Baked Blush – Luminoso
My dad brought me this back from America so I’m not sure what the price was. I do know that he bought it in CVS if that helps anyone. I saw a tonne of YouTubers wearing this blush, particularly Missglamorazzi and I wanted it so badly since then. We don’t get Milani here in Ireland so I was delighted to get this. It’s so beautiful! It’s a peachy, pinky, luminous blusher and it looks so natural and just gorgeous on the skin. You get a natural glow so it doesn’t look like full on shimmer on your face. I think it’s my new favourite blusher and it’s so perfect for Spring and Summer!
WetnWild Petal Pusher
So I reviewed this on my blog already and it was my last post so you can check that out. I won’t say too much just that it’s a great palette, with shades to take you from day to night wi loads of different looks. It’s a perfect pop of colour if you don’t usually wear coloured shadows like me. You don’t feel like wow my eyeshadow is too bright here comes Barney the Dinosaur! The shadows are so beautiful and easy to work with!
Benefits the Porefessional Agent Zero Shine
I bought this when it came out back in January but I just wasn’t feeling it. I felt like it was a waste of money and that Rimmel’s Stay Matte powder done the same job, so it’s been a bit neglected. This month I took it from my make up storage and said I’d give it another go. I have been loving this powder and using it everyday this month. A little bit goes a long way. Your skin looks flawless and it does keep shine at bay amazingly! It’s great for wee top ups during the day because there is a tiny brush at the bottom!
And finally my absolute favourite this month is Olay ProX Facial Cleansing System
I have wanted a facial cleansing system for almost a year and my dad brought this back from America for me. I just wasn’t able to decide on one and couldn’t justify spending €200 on a Clarisonic to clean my face. I saw a few reviews about this Olay one and I was intrigued, I mean they all do the same job right? This has been a saviour for my skin. I’ve been using it for less than a week, six days and the difference in my skin already! I use it with the cleanser sample you get, which you can see in the picture and my dad brought back the larger bottle of it for me too! Bye bye blackheads on my nose! I can’t wait to see the results after using it for longer and maybe finally I can come off my acne medication!
That’s all my favourites for March, what have yours been?
As always thanks for reading! ‘Til next post..
Aussie’s Miracle Hair Insurance Leave in Conditioner is something I’ve incorporated into my hair care routine. My hair is quite annoying as my roots get extremely oily and then my ends can get so dry. It’s hard to get the balance to treat both the issues! I was a bit sceptical about trying out a leave in conditioner because of this, but I find concentrating this on my mid lengths and ends, trying to avoid going near my scalp at all, it works fine for me.
This leave in conditioner claims to be a saviour for weak, distressed hair. I wouldn’t say my hair is weak but distressed it could be classed as. My ends get so freaking dry and I hardly use heat products on it so it’s just my hair type. So the bottle says “With Australian Jojoba Oil, Our unique formula, with a drop of Australian Jojoba seed oil, detangles and helps to protect your hair from everyday wear and tear.” I try not to was my hair every single day, although sometimes it has to be done, but when I do wash my hair I always use this afterwards.
The smells from this bottle is amazing, you can smell it through the cap! Aussie products always have incredible scents so I knew this product would be no different. Its just so fruity and lush and not too overpowering. I’d say in the summer with the heat this stuff smells amazing!
For directions you pretty much spray this into towel dried hair, concentrating where you need it most. As I’ve said it’s m mid lengths and ends that especially need this product. You then comb your hair and this does an amazing job at detangling your hair, the comb just slides through it. And obviously you don’t rinse it out!
I truly adore this product. My hair has been in such good condition since adding this into my routine. I do use argan oil on the very ends of my hair also, but that’s just for the dryness. It really does help t protect my hair and I’ve noticed a lot less split ends and damage from styling since using this.It has also made my hair super soft, it’s hard not to run my fingers through the ends sometimes!
I bought it on sale for around 3.50EURO I think in Tesco but at Boots you can get it for 5.79EURO . It’s definitely worth the price, I don’t think it’s expensive. Because you don’t need a huge amount a little does go a long way!

I’ve never really done an Outfit of the Day Post, or What I’m Wearing or anything really fashion related I don’t think. This is my not so good attempt at documenting my quite comfy outfit while meeting my cousin for a chat and a wander around our local shopping center. I am also going to show my hair, make up and accessories.
I found the pictures a little difficult to take, I applaud anyone who can do this successfully every time! I apologize for such bad pictures I just thought we needed a change around here.
My Top is from Tesco – so classy It’s quite comfortable and goes with a lot of outfits. I really like the lace detail on the shoulders. It’s also baggy, perfect for days when you’re feeling crappy.
My White Vest ( under top) is from Vila – the comfiest vest tops I’ve ever owned are from this shop.
My Jeggings are from Vila – these are the comfiest jeggings ever- I have them in other colours too!
My Boots are from Sketchers – these boots are the comfiest shoes I’ve ever owned.
My Bag is from Pennys – nothing exciting, I got it for my holidays because it’s quite big but not overly bulky. It matches the colour of my trousers, has a quilted appearance and gold hardware.
For make up – I’ve used Benefits Luv It Up, M.A.C’s Tan, Benefit’s They’re Real, Agent Zero Shine, Illamasqua’s Peaked on my cheeks and the rest is my regular make up from other posts I’ve done.
Hair – Is just a messy flipped side pony.
Earrings – were a gift from my boyfriend.
Thanks for reading! ‘Til next post,
My aunt is getting married on the 27th, so next Friday and I’m still unsure as to how I want my hair styled. I’m thinking a loose curly up-do. I took to weheartit to get some hairspiration and as always there’s an abundance of it. Here’s some of the pictures I saved. I don’t think I’ll use any one style from these but I will probably use the ideas from them! I wanted something easy to do and still gorgeous.
First things first. this does not smell like strawberries or vanilla at all to me. It does have a nice smell, which is good because the smells stays in your hair until you next wash it. So you should check whether you like the smell or not when you’re in the shop because you will hate this conditioner if you don’t like the smell!
It is really conditioning, and it left my hair silky smooth. Personally, I felt like I used a lot in my hair ( which was only used int he ends ) because when I first used a small bit it didn’t really feel as if it was conditioning my hair at all.
Overall it was a god product, it leaves your hair silky smooth and smelling delicious!
Okay, so I know I’m two days, too early with this post, but I have a feeling that this week is going to be busy and I’m exactly too sure if Ill have time to post anything so I decided to do it now while I had the time. I had a LOT of favourites this month, I just couldn’t help it. So I’ll just dive right in shall I?
I had two fragrances that I was constantly wearing this month, and both were gifts off my boyfriend over the past year. They both make great day time scents, and are equally as good for evening time. They are Escada Cherry in the Air and Calvin Klein Escape. They both smell quite different, as you can guess Cherry in the Air smells like Cherry, its just a nice, sweet girl scent and I love it! Escape has a scent that is kind of hard to describe, its kind of fresh, fruity and floraly- ish. It’s quite a unique scent and you only need a teensy spray as it can be strong, but it has incredible lasting power.
I only really had two hair products that I enjoyed this month and they are Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends and Toni&Guy Frizz Smoothing Curl Conditioner. Beautiful Ends helps to protects against split ends and it just makes the hair feel so smooth. You run it through your tips daily and just leave it. It works all day long to protect against breakage. The Toni&Guy conditioner doesn’t have a pleasing smell, but the results are fantastic. Your curls or waves are so smooth and it leaves no frizz in your hair. It really conditions it, making your hair silky smooth!
So I had a few products for my face this month, those were Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed and Scrub Your Nose in It, Lush Mask of Magnaminty, Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub, The Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Make Up Remover, T-Zone Shine Control Cleansing Wipes and last of all Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser.
So I have done a review of the Soap & Glory products last week so I will just quickly say that they clean deep down into your pores so nicely and you notice the difference in your skin by the second use. They really do make a difference and your skin feels so soft and smooth afterwards. Mask of Magnaminty from Lush is just the nicest face mask, its so refreshing and has a peppermint scent. It can be used on both your face and your back and it combats redness from the moment you put it onto your face. It also helps to clear up oily skin! Bubblegum Lip Scrub has been my saviour this month as I have had really dry lips, you rub it on and then lick it off and the flavour is delicious! Your lips are so smooth afterwards, but you should use a lipbalm too. The Body Shops eye make up remover actually stings my eyes a little bit if any gets in, but it does the job effectively and is moisturizing too so it doesn’t dry out the eye area. T-Zone facial wipes have really helped my shiny face be kept under control, the only thing that I have tried that really does so I am so impressed. Your skin tingles as you use them so you know you are getting a deep down clean. And lastly, Clean&Clear deep action cream cleanser is so lovely for everyday use, both morning and evening. It leaves a minty feeling and tingle after you wash your face making it feel really cleaned and fresh I love it!
I only have two body products and they are Lush Ocean Salt and Cath Kidston Blossom hand cream. Ocean Salt is a facial scrub but I use it on my lower body as the salt particles are large and really exfoliate the skin. Its perfect to use before shaving your legs as they are so soft and smooth afterwards. Cath Kidston Blossom has a really delicate floral scent and really moisturizes your hands, and they stay soft and smooth for hours after use which I adore.
I haven’t really been using much make up the past month. For my eyes it has to be my Naked Palette, hands down because it just has fabulous every day colour that suit all skin types and you can create so many looks from it. The two eyebrow pencils to fill in my brows, they are Essence and Rimmel, and sometime si mix them for more definition but I mainly use essence and its in blonde and it matches my hair colour nicely because I don;t think dark brows suit me at all. To just smooth my skin and reduce the look of my pores I have been using two products together which are The Body Shops Tea Tree Pore Minimiser and Avons Face Perfector. They do what I said, just smooth the look of the skin and minimise my pores, without clogging them so they don’t cause breakouts. The onto Mascara which is from Seventeen and is a brown/black colour it has a nice consistency and doesn’t clump, it’s also waterproof so its good for the Irish weather. Lastly, I have a Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose and OH MY GOD, your lips are so moisturised and soft and perfect, it really does the job and the scent is great too!
Well thats everything! Thanks for reading ❤
