So while I’ve been working I wanted to keep my make-up both simple but also really pretty. This look can be dressed up or down depending on what mood your in. A lipstick can change this whole look too, I used light pinks, to reds. I’m not a make- kip artist or anything like that! Let’s dive in shall we?
So we’ll start at the base. I always use 3 primers. My NYC Smooth Skin in shade 684. My Benefit The Porefessional* it’s just a sample size and my Urban Decay Primer Potion in original.
I don’t know why I go in this sequence but I guess it works for me! I fill in my eyebrows with my Brow Kit from Sleek in the shade Light 817. I only use the powder side, the wax seems to give me ginger eyebrows and it looks bad. I just fill em in and use the brush off my Rimmel pencil because I’ve lost my other one.
I start with taking my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette as always and using the shade Foxy all over my lid to my brow bone. I then use Bootycall all over my lid. On my crease I use the shade Tease and I blend it on my outer corner also. I then take my Made to Stay Highlighter Pen by Catrice in Eye Want! And use this on my brow bone. I go over this with my Healthy Glow duo from Avon with the light side. For eyeliner, as always it’s my Waterproof gel eyeliner from Rimmel in 001 Black. I’ve been doing a wee flick with it and a thin-ish line on my lash line. Nothing too much. I always leave my mascara until after I do my powder.
I’ve been swapping between my Revlon Colorstay and my Rimmel Lasting Finish. Today it was the Lasting Finish that got picked. I wear the shade 100 Ivory. I put this on with my Real Techniques sponge that needs to be washed again…
Concealer so next and I use Catrice’s Camouflage Cream in 010 Ivory. I use this under my eyes and on blemishes as it’s full coverage. I just apply it with clean fingers as I find that the best way.
I use my Rimmel Stay Matte in 005 Silky Beige. I apply it with my kabuki (is that right?) brush from Superdry all over my face. Nothing special here. I love how matte this keeps me!
I’ve also been swapping between blusher sand today it was my NYC Cheek Glow in 655 Central Park Pink. It’s not overly pigmented so you get a nice, natural looking glow. I apply it with my e.l.f bronzing brush and then blend with my blending brush.
Today I used my They’re Real!* from Benefit. It’s only a sample sized too. I love how it lasts and volumises and lengthens my lashes. I applied two coats of this.
Finally my lips! As I’ve said up above my lip products have been changing day to day depending in what mood I was in. Today I used a combo of Posietint* from Benefit and Sexy Mother Pucker XL Extreme Plump in Pink Out Loud. It just looks girly and light.
And there we have it, my finished look!
